MESSAGE FROM THE NOMINATING COMMITTEE
It's not too early to plan for 2009! Our Nominating Committee needs to present a slate of
Officers to the members in October and election is held in November.
It would be very helpful to the Nominating Committee as they begin to consider leadership for
"Friends" for 2009 if you'd let them know if you'd be interested in a leadership role for the Club
next year. Please consider the possibilities and then early in the summer they can begin to
take a closer look at those who have shown interest. Letting them know of your interest
doesn't obligate you to the position at this time but this way you can be on their list when it
comes time to make final decisions.
Openings are available for Board positions of President, 1st Vice President (in charge of
Programs), 2nd Vice President (in charge of Newcomer's Coffees), Secretary, and Treasurer.
You can also let them know of your interest in these positions: Reservations Chairman,
Luncheon Coordinator, Publicity, Photography, Bulletin Editor, Hospitality, Raffle Ticket Sales,
and Holiday Auction Chairman.
