Program:  Columnist Clay Thompson, an Arizona Republic Columnist

Clay’s column, titled “Valley 101”, offers his humorous look at life in Arizona.  His column answers questions about living here.  Bring YOUR questions.

We are privileged to be able to get him as a speaker!

 

Upcoming program information for October 13th:  Dr. James Ashley PHD   Geological Sciences, School of Earth and Space Exploration from ASU. He is a Research Associate on MERS  the Mars Exploration Rover Mission. His dissertation title is: Meteorites on Mars as planetary research tools with special considerations for Martian weathering processes.

How exciting to have this young man in our community. He will entertain and teach you on this weighty topic in a fun and interesting way!
Who among us does not love looking at our beautiful sky at night? Bring your questions and get ready to be amazed!

Reservations Information

Your check is your reservation.  Please send check (made out to “Friends in the Hills Welcome Club”) to Ione Bushman, 14421 Sherwood Dr., #B, by Wednesday, September 1 .  You must cancel by Friday, September 3.  No exceptions.   No refunds given to “no shows” or cancellations after that date.

Raffle Tickets

are sold at every luncheon.  They are 6 tickets for $5 or $1 each.  50% of all money collected is given out as cash prizes and 50% goes to the club.
