 is a social club, providing women within Fountain Hills and the surrounding area an opportunity to meet, socialize with and become acquainted with one another.  We continually welcome ladies who are new to the community as well as those who have lived in the area for awhile who are looking to make new friends.
A brief history of our club:  Formerly called “Welcome Wagon”, the first meeting was held in February, 1989 with 50 ladies in attendance.  The name was changed to “Friends in the Hills Welcome Club” and became incorporated as a non-profit corporation on March 14, 2003.  Membership is required.

The club holds a monthly luncheon and meeting on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 11:30 AM.  We currently meet at the Fountain Hills Community Center Ballroom.  Cost of a luncheon is $20 and a reservation is required and payable in advance.  More details can be found on the Monthly Luncheons page, as well as changes that are made during the summer months of June, July and August.

Hospitality Hostesses are available at every luncheon to greet new members and guests who come alone and might feel a bit overwhelmed at their first couple of luncheons.  They reserve a special table for newcomers, who can sit together and develop friendships with others who are also new.   The hostesses guide new attendees through the luncheon process and are available to explain the events of the day and to answer questions.

Many regular activities and one-time special events are offered throughout the year where members can get to know each other better while participating in what interests them personally.  A monthly bulletin with all club information is published every month except June, July and August.  The bulletin is sent by email to members a few days before each luncheon and hard copies are available at luncheons.   A Sign-up Table is available at every luncheon for the upcoming activities and events.

Newcomer’s Coffees are held regularly for new members and ladies interested in learning more about the club.  Attending a coffee affords the opportunity in a small group setting where the club’s overall program is explained and questions can be answered.
