Kachina Dolls
by
Tony Espinoza of Mesa
Tony Espinoza gave an informative and entertaining presentation.
He offered a very large Kachina “warrior” for silent bidding, valued at $800. Several members
submitted bids on the doll and the highest bid came from Becky Collman,
who was thrilled to take home a genuine Kachina, the maker of which she now knew personally.
Of special interest was an anatomically correct Kokapelli doll, which was purchased by Betty Close.
